PAT Dog

Bryn's early years were very full, attending shows and competitions. He was frequently called upon by a local farmer to help move sheep, something he did naturally with the minimum of training. Now, in his twilight years he regularly visits a residential home in his role as PAT dog. Ill health has plagued him of late and after collapsing he was diagnosed as having Addison's disease but daily medication and regular monitoring allows him to lead a near normal life.

(ADDISON'S DISEASE - Hypoadrenocorticism. In simple terms a hormone that controls sodium and potassium levels in the body is not present causing a series of vague symptoms that are often misdiagnosed. Continual lack of the hormone can result in a crisis or collapse. Daily replacement of the hormone in tablet form rectifies the problem.)

Tizzie has achieved success in obedience, agility and showing and has 14 BOB's to her name as well as "Dog of the Year" in 2000 at Brigg Canine Society. At Crufts 2004 Tizzie won a first in 'Veteran Bitch' at the grand old age of 10 years, a wonderful achievement. Tizzie has proved to be a good all rounder and has, in the past, taken part in demonstrations of obedience, agility and flyball at country shows and fetes. It is her sense of mischief that used to endear her to the crowd and she would take delight in hiding in the tunnel or sliding backwards down the A-frame. Tizzie, like Bryn, has led a full and active life, enjoyng holidays by the seaside, and has also produced two litters of pups. Now, age has caught up with her, athritis has slowed her down but she enjoys runs in the forest and visiting as a PAT dog.

He has also won RBIS's twice, 3rd at Crufts 2002 and a 2nd and 3rd at Crufts 2003 and a 2nd and 3rd at Crufts 2004. Szymon is being campaigned in Europe and gained his first CAC CACIB at the Eurodogshow in Belgium in 2004. He is the gentle giant of the family with a superb temperament and easy going nature. He will never be known for his quick reactions but makes up for it with his sense of fun.

Estrella (Squiffy) is three years old and is trained to do agility and flyball and was bred by Catherine Jefferson (Pemontell).
Squiffy, in particular, loves water whether it is deep or shallow. She is an excellent swimmer but also enjoys playing with water from a tap or in a bucket. She is occasionally shown and has done well in ‘imported breed classes’. One of her greatest pleasures is to walk in the woods and follow rabbit trails or visit the seaside and play in the sea.

Squiffy's first litter was born on 01/01/03
